Alcohol Soluble Maleic Resin

Alcohol Soluble Maleic Resin

Alcohol soluble maleic resin is a pale yellow, transparent, bead or flake-shaped resin produced by modifying gum rosin with maleic anhydride, followed by esterification with polyhydric alcohol. It is characterized by excellent alcohol solubility, fast drying, high gloss, and high hardness, making it ideal for alcohol-based intaglio printing inks, varnish, coatings, and water-based inks (when neutralized with amine).
